Robinson Family Christmas 2008

Yes! Santa did make it to our house this year. Jakob was worried how Santa would make it down the chimney if we had a fire in the fireplace. I told him Santa loves to get his feet warm and has a magical way of not getting burned. He seemed to think that was ok. We had a very fun and very chaotic day. If you were to see our house right now you would definitely know we had a very HUGE party, and party we did. We heard plenty of yelling and screaming when someone would open a present that they really wanted. Rylee was completely dead to the world until she opened up the camera that she has been begging for. I'm glad she came back to life. We had so much fun with all the little ones. They are so cute!

Look at these two cute presents Santa left under our tree!

The greatest gift we received this year was our baby Beckham. Today is the first day he has actually been to grandma's house and we were so excited to have him with us. He was born about 6 weeks premature and spent 3 weeks in the hospital. He has been under house arrest (those are Rylee's words) since then so this was a BIG outing for him. He loved being with all of his cousins and uncles and even slept through the noise. We even got a smile out of him. Isn't he adorable? He now weighs over 7 lbs! Way to go big boy!

Here are the Sallenbacks. Saylor was afraid she wasn't getting any presents because every time she would come over to my house she would count the presents and she was really bugged that not many had her name on them. But she knows her granny loves her because she ended up getting the Ruthie doll and bed and clothes and lots of stuff. Ty Ty loved her Bitty Baby and cradle and stroller. She kept telling me over and over how much she loved her baby. Bostons favorite present was his electrical dinosaur and the best part of it was scaring Tylund and Bella.

The worst part of our christmas was not having Marcus, Brittanie, and Baby Indie with us. We missed them alot. They moved to Houston, Texas a few months ago and we are still not adjusted very well to having them gone. I'm so sad I didn't get to see Indie open up her presents. She is always so funny and has the cutest personality. Eric and I can't stand it too much longer. We are going to get on a plane in a few weeks and it will be headed to see our kids there.
We are so grateful to have such a loving family and we are also blessed with many good friends and people in our life. And especially today being Christmas and throughout all the year, we are grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and for His birth and the light he brings into our lives.
Merry Christmas!
